In order to maintain a beautiful neighborhood with high home values, Deer Lake Run has an active Architectural Control Committee (ACC) to review major changes to a home's exterior and landscaping. Following are common items that must be sent to the ACC for review, prior to work beginning:
Per FL Statute 720.305(2), the HOA may impose a fine on homeowners who do not receive ACC approval before commencing changes to their property.
- Roof replacement
- Tree removals over 4" in diameter (measured 3ft. from ground)
- Fence installation
- Exterior repainting
- Structural additions (such as sheds)
- Any changes to the facade
